I trust you understand the nature of the situation and will handle it with discretion. The formal letter makes certain allegations which I'm sure you will find compelling. I leave the matter of appropriate sanctions to your judgement, though I would note that a man in your position, having served the Mariners so admirably for so many years, deserves to be recognised when the time comes for national appointments to be made.
When my work with Rugby New Zealand reaches its natural conclusion, I will not forget those who demonstrated good sense during difficult moments.
